How Rainbet Provably Fair Works

Commit — Before your bet, Rainbet publishes SHA-256(serverSeed). The outcome is locked in, hidden from both parties.

Generate — HMAC-SHA512 keyed with the server seed over clientSeed:nonce:keno:step → stream of 32-bit numbers → 10 unique picks by an unbiased shuffle of the board (rejection sampling, no modulo bias).

Reveal — After rotation Rainbet reveals serverSeed. Hash it and compare to the commitment — if they match, the result is proven fair.

Verify — Paste the revealed seed + your client seed + nonce above. We recompute the draw client-side and you can confirm it matches.

How to verify Rainbet Keno results

Rainbet Keno is provably fair: before you bet, Rainbet commits to a secret server seed by showing you its SHA-256 hash. Every draw is then calculated from that server seed, your own client seed and a nonce — a counter that goes up by one with every bet. Because the hash is published first, the result of each round is fixed before you play and can't be changed afterwards.

To check a round, open Rainbet's provably fair settings and rotate your seed pair. That reveals the server seed used for all your bets on the previous pair. Copy it together with your client seed and the nonce of the bet, paste them into Verify a Round above, pick the same mode (Normal 1–40 or Extreme 1–56), and the numbers shown must be exactly the ones in your bet history.

The Find Matches tab runs the same calculation over a whole range of nonces and lists every round where your chosen numbers would have hit. Everything runs in your browser — your seeds are never sent to our server.

Keno verifier FAQ

Where do I find my server seed, client seed and nonce on Rainbet?
In Rainbet's provably fair (fairness) settings for your account. Your client seed and the hashed active server seed are shown there, and each bet in your history has its nonce. The unhashed server seed only appears after you rotate to a new seed pair.
Why can't I verify my current bets?
The server seed you are playing on right now stays secret — only its hash is shown — otherwise the next draws could be predicted. Rotate your seed pair to reveal it, and every bet made with that pair becomes verifiable.
What does it mean if the numbers don't match?
First check that the seeds were copied without extra spaces, that the nonce belongs to that exact bet, and that the mode (Normal or Extreme) is the same as when you played. If everything matches and the numbers still differ, take a screenshot and contact Rainbet support.
Can this tool predict future Keno results?
No. Future results depend on a server seed that is still secret, so no tool can predict them. The verifier only proves that past rounds were fair, and Find Matches looks back over rounds that were already played.
Is the Keno verifier free and safe to use?
Yes. It is free, needs no login, and the calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored.
